Students must be 14.5 years to start. Get your permit on your 15th birthday so that you can get your license on your 16th birthday!
The Process:
1. At 14.5 you can take the 30 Hr Class.
2. At 14 and 11 months you can take the permit test.
3. At 15 years old you can get your permit.
4. At 15 years old you can take driving lessons (Permit Required).
5. After holding your permit for 1 year you can take your drivers license test.
6. After passing the test you can get your license. If under 16.5 years old, 6 hours of driving lessons are required before getting a license.

Our in-person class is just a 20 minute drive away from Sand Creek High School. We have 3 Colorado Springs locations but the closest location is on 2441 N Union Blvd. We offer classes on weekends and also on weeks when Sand Creek is on holiday break. This option is great for a hands on and interactive learning experience.

Our comprehensive driver’s ed program provides a relaxed learning environment where students master skills to become safe and attentive drivers. This program offers students everything they need, from classroom instruction and the permit test to personalized behind-the-wheel training with certified instructors.

Colorado Drivers license Test Only
This test is required to get a drivers license. If under 18 years old, you first must have held your permit for at least 1 year. If you are under 16.5 years old, you must also have done 6 hours of lessons with a certified driving instructor. It takes around 20 minutes, and there is no parallel parking or highway driving on the test. After passing the test, you will either be able to get your license at the DMV, or online.

6 hours of Behind-the-Wheel Driving Lessons
One-on-one driving lessons with a certified instructor. This package includes 3 driving lessons, each 2 hours long. Lessons focus on real-world skills such as neighborhood driving, highway driving, parallel parking, and test preparation. Lessons are done in our cars, and we have lessons available 7 days a week! 6 hours of lessons are required to get your license before 16.5 years old.
